Can you survive with 3k?

Copy from my mail, forgot from who... Cz i got heaps of them. All the same. [ words in pink is my own comment, hehehe...]

Can a family man with Salary RM3,000 survive in Malaysia (especially KL) ?

CAN - eat plain normal roti everyday, no entertainment, no tuition for children, buy new clothes and shoes once a year (Raya only), no radio, no TV, no nothing! Just go to work / school and balik rumah. Otherwise, how
to save money for children's future education, medical bill (one will definitely get sick / collapse easily under this kind of government ruling), pay for inflation, etc? That's what our government wants us to do - CHANGE OUR LIFESTYLE!

In Malaysia , the average family income is RM3,000 /month (where only father works, mother doesn't).

I understand there are many families whose monthly income does not reach RM3,000, but, to make things simple, let's take RM3,000 as the figure. Ok lah, right?

Okay, let's start rolling with a family which has Dad, Mom, 1 daughter and 1 son. Ngam-ngam ....

Electricity and water bill: RM100 (No air-con, No home theatre, No water heater ... ok?) [mine is way too high.... ops]
Phone bill ( Telekom): RM100 [less than that, cz nowadays do u still use house phone?]
Meals for a happy family: RM775 (3 meals on RM25/day, RM25 for 4 persons...?) [might be more than that... cz always eat with big family]
Daddy makan / teh-tarik during working hrs: RM155 (RM5/day, RM5 ... can eat what?) [erm.... no comment....]
Car repayment: RM400 (A proton saga aeroback, 7 yrs repayment) [i've done mine, non of my biz till i get myself a new car]
Petrol (living in city, traffic-jam): RM300 (go to work, bring son to school, only can afford one car running) [mine is way too high.... need to send n pick my cousin frm sch, mom need to go here n there, send me to work etc...]
Insurance: RM650 (kids, wife and myself) [i dun think i have this]
House repayment: RM750 (low cost housing repayment for 30 yrs, retired still have to work to pay!) [living in family house]
Tuition: RM80 (got that cheap meh? i don't think so) [erm, non of my biz too, cz i m the tuition teacher and collecting RM300 from his parents]
Older children pocket money @ school: RM20 (RM1/day, eat bread?) [non of my biz too, i dun hv a child]
School fees: RM30 (enough ah?) [as above]
School books and etc: RM100 (always got extra to pay in school) [as above]
Younger children milk powder: RM50 (cannot have the DHA, BHA, PHA one, expensive) [as above] Miscellaneous: RM100 (shampoo, rice, sauce, toilet paper) [heaps diff from mine ok.... Heaps to buy... can u imagine i go to TESCO once and atleast spend RM50? And for an average of RM100? At least once a week?]

Oh wait!!! I have to stop here, so...
No Astro,
[i dun have that] no movie @ cinema,
[only brought my cousins to watch KUNG FU Panda once last week since i came back from Melbourne] no DVD, [i din buy any of them] no CD,
[i din buy any of them] no online, [RM66 streamyx] cannot KFC,
[i dun eat meat] cannot McDonald, [i love the chips/ fries there.... But din eat them ages ago] cannot go Park walk during weekend (petrol expensive), [i dun go park, i go malls.... need 2 pay more parking] no chit chat on phone with grandparents, and etc... [no more grandparents for me to chit chat]
Let's use a calculator to total up... WALAO EH! Shit! RM3,610 already...
[i din count mine]
EPF belum potong, income tax lagi........oledi RM3,610 ....How to survive lah tuan-tuan dan puan-puan sekalian ???
[so can u imagine those who with a monthly salary RM800? how can they survive?]

Our Deputy Prime Minister asked us to change lifestyle? How to change? Don't eat? Don't work? Don't send children to school and study?

Besides that, I believe in Malaysia population, there are millions of rakyat Malaysia which still don't earn RM3,000/month!!!

What is this? Inilah Malaysia Boleh... Sorry ... it should be Malaysians Boleh , because we're still alive and kicking!!

Our politicians must be mad!!!!
span style="color: rgb(47, 47, 47);font-size:12;" > [they r not mad, they r normal human who have normal desire which to earn more $ frm us]

Please forward and comment boleh or tak boleh.
No wonder so many Ah Loong around lah....
[what a hilarious ending!]

Old Melbourne Gaol [ 29.11.2007]

In a really nice day, me and Catherine decided to visit the Old Melbourne Gaol. Cz we have a 2 for 1 voucher which means buy one free one. Before everything, need to declare something which is the GAOL word. Here is what i found.

Jail, or gaol (especially in Australia), remand prison, is a correctional institution used to detain persons who are in the lawful custody of the state. This includes either accused persons awaiting trial or for those who have been convicted of a crime and are serving a sentence of less than one year.Jails are generally small penitentiaries run by individual counties and cities, though some jails in larger communities may be as large and hold as many inmates as regular prisons. "Jail" is also a synonym for "prison" in most countries (excluding the United States), especially when the facility is of a similar size as a correctional facility. As with prisons, some jails have different wings for certain types of offenders, and have work programs for inmates who demonstrate good behavior.

(from wikipedia)

at 1st we though this is the gaol, then only we found out it is not. Hehee....

When you visit the Old Melbourne Gaol, it will come with a package which you can hv a guided tour to the City Melbourne Watch House as well. As above is the charge sheet which stated what kinda charge you're with. Everyone has one of that, cool huh?

Ned Kelly's Colt.

Who is Ned Kelly?
dward "Ned" Kelly (3 June 1855 – 11 November 1880) was Australia's most famous bushranger, and, to some, a folk hero for his defiance of the colonial authorities. Kelly was born in Victoria to an Irish convict father, and as a young man he clashed with the police. Following an incident at his home in 1878, police parties searched for him in the bush. After he murdered three policemen, the colony proclaimed Ned and his gang wanted outlaws. A final violent confrontation with police took place at Glenrowan. Kelly, dressed in home-made plate metal armour and helmet, >>>

was captured and sent to trial. He was hanged for multiple murder at Melbourne Jail in 1880. His daring and notoriety made him an iconic figure in Australian history, folk lore, literature, art and film. On March 9 2008, it was claimed that Kelly's burial site had been found by Australian scientists.
